Pre-Requisite
Knowledge is the key requirement. We do not recommend this exam for beginners. We recommend that cardiac nurse practitioners and physician assistants apply themselves to the study of cardiology and have at least 2 years on the job before attempting to take this exam (those that have been a cardiac nurse prior to becoming an NP or PA will have a better chance of passing and will not need 2 years practice as an NP or PA. Success depends on how well one has applied themselves to studying almost all aspects of adult cardiology. We do not offer an online prep course for this Exam as yet but expect to in the near future. We usually host one or two review courses per year.

How to Prepare for the CVNP or CVPA Board Examination

Once you have signed up and paid for the exam, you will receive a detailed study list for the exam.
